Reliable second generation tuning chip for your e-bike with Yamaha motor.
SpeedBox 2.0 tuning chip enables to suppress the speed limiter on your electric bike. After the chip is installed your e-bike’s display shows real data, such as maximum and average speed, daily mileage and cruising range. E-bike electric assistance switches off with this chip when reaching the speed of 50 km/h.
How does SpeedBox 2.0 work?
You can activate the SpeedBox 2.0 tuning kit on your e-bike’s display. After pressing LIGHT, a value of 5,0 km/h (3,1 mph) appears on the display. From now on you can ride at the speed of 50 km/h.
To deactivate the chip, press LIGHT button again. The value of 2.5 km/h (1,5 mph) appears on your display and the speed limit is set to 25 km/h again. Your e-bike will then work the same as before the chip installation.
If you want to control your SpeedBox and lights separately, use the combination of ↑↓↑↓ buttons. By pressing the arrows in that order you can activate and disactivate SpeedBox anytime independently of the lights control.
Assembly
When connecting the SpeedBox chip to an e-bike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of our tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any troubles with installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.
If you are planning to install SpeedBox on a brand-new bike, make sure you ride it for at least 1 km before the chip is activated.
Detailed installation information can be found here.

My 2014 Giant Prime E+1 does not reach 50Km/h because it is not that fast engine but i have pushed it up to 40Kmh with a bit of sweat ;-)
Now easy passing slow ebikers with 30Km/h and no need for buying speedpedelec.

Dirty hands and two hours of d.i.y. Maybe make a video for the propper bike?
That could withhold people to buy this solution.
